GrazeHERs: Hands-On Grazing Education for Women
GrazeHERs is a hands-on grazing education program designed for women at all stages of livestock and pasture management. The program includes four virtual sessions covering pasture management, soil health, livestock nutrition, and grazing math, followed by an on-farm field day in June. Waseca SWCD has Grant dollars available for many projects!!
Call or stop in the office and let us help with a project you are thinking of implementing. Our staff can draw up plans for windbreaks, basins, terraces, grassed waterways, wildlife habitat, wetland restoration, shoreline restoration and many more conservation practices.
