Conservation Tree Program

The Waseca Soil and Water Conservation District tree program was developed to provide landowners with an affordable way to purchase trees and shrubs for conservation practices, such as windbreaks, shelter belts, living snow fences, and wildlife habitat.  Many of the county's shelter belts, farmstead and field windbreaks, wildlife habitat, and reforestation have been started as a result of the SWCD Tree Program.

The Waseca SWCD Staff can assist you in drawing up a windbreak plan to fit your location.
Stop in or call to set up a time convenient to go over some ideas.
